This blog was created to detail the construction of a French ultralight designed by Claude Piel called the Onyx. It is built with sitka spruce and aircraft grade birch plywood. I will be fitting it with a Koenig SC-430 2 stroke radial engine.

For Sale
I have listed this project for sale on eBay including all parts, wood, engine, propeller, gas tank, safety harness, etc.
The Onyx Bi-place on the photo in your blog,is in my posession and is flying around in the south of France. It is the prototype built by the constuctor. In the same hangar there is an other RF212 bought many years ago as a kit and recently finished and now also flying. If there is a way to contact you by e-mail, I can send you some photo`s. Greetings, Ron (from The Netherlands)
